Use this guide if you are using the calculator for the first time. Complete the main material data, and the indicative result will update automatically.
1. MetalSelect Nickel, Cobalt, Molybdenum, Copper, or Aluminium. The latest reference price entered by the administrator will be used.
2. Wet material weight (MT)Enter the total material weight before moisture deduction. Example: 18 means 18 metric tonnes.
3. Cobalt laboratory sampleFor Cobalt, choose Sample 1, 2, 3, or 4 to fill the assay basis, moisture, and grade automatically. Choose Manual input for other laboratory results.
4. Assay basisSelect Dry basis / After Moist when the laboratory grade is reported after moisture correction. Select As-is / Wet basis when the grade already represents the material in its actual wet condition.
5. Moisture and gradeFor dry basis, moisture is deducted from the material weight before applying the grade. For as-is basis, the grade is applied directly to the entered material weight and moisture is not deducted again.
6. Payable (%)Enter the agreed payable percentage. Example: 43 means 43% of the contained-metal reference value is payable.
7. USD / IDR exchange rateOptional. Enter the exchange rate only when you also want to see the estimated value in Indonesian Rupiah.
8. Total deductions (USD)Optional. Enter treatment, inspection, packing, logistics, or other agreed deductions. Leave blank when there is no deduction.
9. Indicative resultThe calculator shows dry weight, contained metal, gross reference value, payable value, deductions, and estimated net value.
Examples: Nickel 19% on dry basis: select Dry basis, enter moisture, grade 19%, and payable 43%. Cobalt After Moist 5.8% with moisture 32.2%: select Dry basis, enter grade 5.8% and moisture 32.2%. Cobalt As Is Moist 0.65%: select As-is basis and enter grade 0.65%; moisture will not be deducted twice.
